C.B. Harvey Rest Beach (corner of Atlantic Blvd. & White St.)
Key West's smaller and most private beach is a popular spot for family picnics or just a quick ocean side lunch.  Known to locals as Harvey Beach, there are a few small covered picnic areas and a strolling pier.  Parking is available across the street.

Charles "Sonny" McKoy Indigenous Park (Atlantic Blvd. & White St.)
Just across the street from C.B. Harvey Rest Beach, the park contains over 125 species of tropical native trees and shrubs.  It also provides a natural habitat for many migrating birds and butterflies.  The seven regulation bocce ball courts nearby are the home courts of the Southernmost Bocce League.  They're open to the public when league matches are not in play.  A covered picnic area and restrooms are available.   Easy parking.

Clarence S. Higgs Memorial Beach (corner of Atlantic Blvd. & Reynolds St.)
Higgs Beach is beautiful spot that has it all.  A white sandy beach stretches along shallow waters.  There are 6 tennis courts, covered picnic areas, a pier, shower & restroom facilities, volleyball courts, a large playground (Astro City Park) and smaller tot play area, and an outdoor handball court.  Parking can be difficult on weekend afternoons.

George Smathers Beach (South Roosevelt Blvd.)
Every visitor should spend at least one morning by taking a sunrise walk or run along the Smathers Beach boardwalk.  There's always lots of activity here, from tough volleyball competition, windsurfing and just soaking up the sun.  Roadside vendors make food and drinks convenient, throughout the day.  Covered picnic areas, shower & restroom facilities, and water sport rentals are available.
